I called in mid-September to set up a visit for my wife's third pair of boots. They told me they had them in stock for her to try on. After a 300-mile round trip, I found out they weren’t available. My wife still wanted another pair, even after we wasted time and fuel. I definitely wasn’t keen on going through that again.

I placed an order for the boots, and they finally showed up at SBC late and in the wrong color. I ordered a new pair and was offered the original ones at half price, £180, so I went ahead and bought those too.

The boots arrived from Spain to SBC on December 23rd and were sent to me via Evri, which claims to be a “budget parcel courier service.” This was the choice for a package worth £700 during the busiest season. On the 29th, the delivery came, but only one pair was included. I reached out to SBC and was told the second pair was taped to the first. The tape was just a few wraps of flimsy 25mm wide tape, not nearly strong enough. With no way to track down my boots, the package was lost and had nothing labeled on it. I was quickly refunded my £180, even though they would be claiming back over £360 on insurance.

Never again.

These boots are amazing, super comfy, and fit just right. Reaching out to the company for sizing questions was a breeze. I picked up two pairs—one for me that fits like a dream. The other was a gift, and I kinda guessed the size wrong, but the help I got for the exchange was top-notch, and everything arrived pretty quickly. The leather quality and craftsmanship are way better than what I've come across in the States, and I know these will hold up for ages. For sure, one of my best buys!

These boots look great and have a cool design, but the leather on mine started acting strange after some time, despite me sticking to the care guidelines and only using them for special occasions. The customer service was a letdown; they brushed me off saying it’s normal and that they turn into nubuck. If I wanted nubuck, I would’ve just picked that option!

Don't wait until you're in dire need of boots; just go ahead and order them now. My custom-made mock croc boots took quite a while to show up, and the updates on their status weren't exactly what I was hoping for. But when they finally arrived, they looked just as fantastic as I anticipated. I've gotten quite a few compliments on the color and the details. What really makes me happy is how great they are for riding. Custom fitting truly makes a difference and is worth the extra cash. I might just have to get another pair!
